The bad: i’m not 100% certainly but as soon as i connected a component film telegram over my preceding projector, a mitsubishi hc1000 720p i did not reach redish horizontal lines leave-taking through the viewed image. Nor did i at times reach distorted epithilium tones. However, i did feel that withy the vivitek. Again, that is only withy the component film telegram. I befall over think that for viewing a computerized telegram box, its’ improve over use component. In any case an hdmi telegram is fantastic especially for viewing blu-ray or hd dvd. This outcome withy rainbow effect, is not as puny as they produce it out over me. Maybe i’m one of those people who is more sympathetic over it. My wife said she sees it too but only as soon as she makes an effort over see it, like immediately removing her eyes from the screen. Any way the effect is definintely there and i’ve already surpassed more than 50 hours of viewing but i would differently exchange it for a projector that does not have that effect.the good; other than these “flaws” just pop in a Vivitek H1080FD 1080p, especially one of the newer movies and prepare over be awed ! Between the luminance, the resolution and the color, it truly makes for a satisfying viewing experiance. I watched the movie the public enemies on blu ray and it was like, true home theater feel if not improve than in the manner of the movies. The roku movies (to long over explain so far as that is but for those who have it, you know so far as i mean) in hd also look fantastic, but again only the newer movies blow you away. Older movies that have been changed over hd somehow and do not produce as suitable an impact. In summary, take away the fault as soon as viewing through a component video, take away the dreaded rainbow effect, and take away the admirer noise (it’s not overwhelming but it is noticable, i have mine cealing riding so that helps a bit) and centre on the hd or blue ray viewed movies, and that projector is over die for.
